Before William succeeded to the peerage, in 1679, he and his wife lived at Bulwell Wood Hall, in the Parish of Hucknall Torkard. Several of their children were baptised in the Church.

was baptized the 17th of March.

1666.
John, the sonne of William Byron, of Bulwell
Wood, Esqre., and Dame Elizabeth, his
wife, was baptized July the eighteenth.

1667.
Henrietta et Maria, the daughter of the honble.
William Byron, Esqre., and Elizabeth, his wife,
was baptized the seventeenth day of March.

William, the sonne of William Byron, Esqre., and
Dame Elizabeth, his wife, was baptised
February the twenty-sixth, 1668.

1670.
Juliana, daughter of the honble. William Byron,
of Bulwell Wood, Esqre., and Elizabeth,
his wife, was baptized May the nineteenth day.

reads: “Anne, daughter of William Byron,

Of these children Richard died at the age of one.

1666.
Mr. Richard Byron, the sonne of Mr. Will
Byrion, was buried the 8th March.

Henrietta Maria died at the age of four years.

day, 1671.

Anne died in 1675 at the age of two.
